After years of eating bars from a dozen different companies, something clicked. All of a sudden, bars--calorie-rich and oh-so-convenient in the outdoors--started to seem too sweet, too replica Cartier watch chewy, and too fake. But then Clif Bar Company did something different. The ICF Freestyle World Championships begin today in Thun, Switzerland with opening ceremonies. A 70yearold who got lost while hiking in the Great Smoky Mountains National Park was rescued this morning, reports the Knoxville News Sentinel. Morgan Briggs was missing for more than eight days when he was airlifted out of the park.
